Kalvin Phillips has left his boyhood club Leeds to join Manchester City
The summer transfer window is open for business in the Premier League.
Clubs in England are now able to buy and sell players, and plenty of them have got down to business early.
Manchester City completed the £51million capture of goalscoring phenomenon Erling Haaland, 21, while title rivals Liverpool spent £64m on Benfica striker Darwin Nunez
Tottenham have been busy adding Richarlison for £60m from Everton, Brighton’s Yves Bissouma for £25m and capturing Ivan Perisic on a free from Inter Milan.
Arsenal have secured Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira’s signature for £30m, while Philippe Coutinho’s switch to Aston Villa became permanent earlier in the summer when they paid £17m for his services.
The Gunners also landed Gabriel Jesus in a £45m swoop from champions City, who responded in turn with the addition of Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips for the same fee.
The summer transfer window will close again at 11pm (BST) on Thursday, September 1.
That same day should also see the end of the windows in Germany, Italy, Spain, France and other major European leagues.
