Newly promoted Italian Serie A side, Salernitana is on the verge of signing Nigerian duo Simy Nwankwo and Joe Obi.
According to Sky Sports Italia Salernitana has held talks with the players over a possible switch, ahead of the coming campaign.
Joel Obi is available as a free agent after his contract with Chievo Verona expired at the end of last season, while Simy Nwankwo could cost around €10million.
The reports also claimed Salernitana will continue talks with Crotone for striker Simy next week who scored 20 goals in the top flight last season.
The 29-year-old has also been linked with Udinese, Genoa, and Torino after his sensational 20 Serie A goals last season.
Salernitana coach, Fabrizio Castor identified Obi as the right reinforcement for his midfield as he looks to survive the 2021-2022 Serie A season.
