The final set of competitive fixtures before Christmas produced plenty of excitement as the line-up for the Carabao Cup semi-finals was decided. 

With Arsenal booking their spot on Tuesday, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham joined them last night as a trip to Wembley in February started to creep into sight.
