The Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, has joined the rest of the world in the battle to stop the spread of coronavirus, which has shaken the world.
In a video posted on his official Twitter handle, the NFF president pleaded with Nigerians and football community to adhere to the directives given by the Federal Government, World Health Organisation and other reputable institutions in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said, “The world is passing through an unprecedented phase of challenges occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“At every point in time, we must not be tired of cleanliness and staying at home. Football is played outdoors in Nigeria, but this is not the time to play football, regrettably.”
