Memphis Depay is on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window
Arsenal is eyeing up a move for Barcelona forward Memphis Depay.
The Gunners are in desperate need of reinforcements up front with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both set to depart this summer.
Depay signed for Barca on a free transfer from Lyon last year and has netted 13 goals in all competitions this term.
But despite starting the past four LaLiga games, the 28-year-old Dutchman has not always been a regular under Xavi.
His deal at the Camp Nou only runs to next summer, though there is the option to extend it by a year if the club sees fit.
With the Gunners likely to miss out on Champions League football again on Sunday, their options are somewhat limited.
And they may face competition from other Premier League clubs too.
SPORT says that Everton and Newcastle would also be keen to sign the former Manchester United player.
In his 18 previous months in the English top-flight, Depay netted just twice in 33 games for the Red Devils.
