The agent of Tottenham goalkeeper Giglielmo Vicario has admitted that this season could be his last with the north London side.

The 29-year-old moved to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2023, joining from Italian outfit Empoli as a replacement for Hugo Lloris.

Vicario started off well in north London, and was instrumental in the Europa League success under Ange Postecoglou.

However, the Italy international has come in for criticism for his recent performances and was booed by some quarters of the fanbase for a costly error in Spurs’ recent 2-1 loss to Fulham.

Porro and Frank criticise fans

Teammate Pedro Porro called out those who did boo the goalkeeper, posting on social media following the narrow defeat to the Whites: “Football is emotions. In football, as in life, there can always be mistakes, what I will not tolerate is hearing disrespect from the fan to my team-mates – hence my frustration at the end of the game.
